Hugo Almeida, the captain and former star of the Portuguese national team, accepted to be Morais' assistant in the Mobarake Sepahan football team.
According to the public relations of Sepahan SC, Hugo Almeida, a well-known footballer of the former Portuguese national team, started working as an assistant of Jose Morais in Foulad Mobarakeh Sepahan.
Almeida was previously the assistant of Morais in the Saudi Arabian Al-Hilal team. Throughout his football career, he played in big teams such as Porto and Boa Vista in Portugal, Besiktas in Turkey, Werder Bremen in Germany, Sinaia in Italy and A.K. Athens in Greece.
Almeida's honors include two league championships and two Portuguese cup championships with the Porto team, one Greek League championship with AKA Athens, Turkish League championship with Besiktas, Germancup champion in Werder Bremen team.
Also He won the European Cup in Porto team in 2003-2004 season. Almeida has scored 19 goals for his country's national team, Portugal, in 57 international games.
